channel? I want to see this. I hope they drag him out alive. I'd love to see the man on trial. He'll die anyhow.

Reuters quoted the BBC as saying that Marines feel Saddam Hussein may be hiding inside. There has been confirmation of one Marine killed in the fierce firefight, but there is no confirmation yet regarding the rumors of Saddam being in the mosque.

are you sure you heard it right? Wouldn't they be covering it instead of having this girl interrogate this schmuck?

Is this supposed to be a straight news show? That girl is being SNIDE with that man!

As if I needed to remember why I don't watch Fox often. It's not that I agree or disgree with her, its the attitude. Dan Rather doesn't get snide when interviewing people (at least not on camera)

Yeah, I guess I got excited. But still, you think they'd bring in an analyst and ask him what you'd do when you have Saddam surrounded instead of talking to reporters in the field.

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - U.S. Marines were searching a mosque in Baghdad close to one of Saddam Hussein's presidential palaces on Thursday after a firefight with Iraqi forces, a BBC correspondent said from the scene.
Correspondent David Willis was quoted on the British broadcaster's Web Site as saying the Marines believed Saddam might be hiding in the mosque.

"The Marines came under attack -- probably by special Republican Guard units -- as dawn broke along the Tigris river," the BBC said. "One Marine was killed in a half-hour battle."

Thats a tough situation. Do you call in a strike on a Mosque? Is it worth the publicity? We seem to have some credit in Iraq politically. I'd hate to see us blow it.

Perhaps they should just storm it with troops.

>I'd hate to see us blow it.

USA wont do it. Saddam may, his last hurrah!

>Perhaps they should just storm it with troops.

Wait him out... This would be a good time for non-lethal gassing if were "legal."

are we not allowed to use Tear Gas? That could cloud up a building pretty good. Geez, they use it on the protestors.

Patriot: don't you think that dragging him out intact even if he's dead would be a lot better politically than a pile of mosque rubble?

>are we not allowed to use Tear Gas?

No... Banned by the U.N.... Oh wait a minute!! That means 'we' could use it...

thats silly. There is definately a line between Tear gas/pepper spray and highly toxic agents.

Hell my girlfriend has pepper spray on her keychain!
